Mul-T-Lock UK's 50th Anniversary Celebration

Mul-T-Lock will spend the year celebrating and strengthening the invaluable partnerships with its network of professional locksmiths, many of whom have been customers for over 20 to 40 years.

Mul-T-Lock is Born

Mul-T-Lock is an Israeli lock manufacturer founded in 1973 by Avraham Bachri and Moshe Dolev. The motivation behind Mul-T-Lock began in 1972 when Bachri's neighbour asked him to build and install a secure door.

After installing the locks, Bachri discussed the design of secure doors with Moshe Dolev. The two designed a multi-point locking system. They formed a company around the system, named Rav-Bariach. In 1985, the company was aptly re-named “Mul-T" Lock and was purchased in 2000 by the ASSA ABLOY Group.

Claire adds: “Since its establishment, Mul-T-Lock has gained international popularity and become renowned for designing and patenting a multitude of locks and locking systems. In the famous quote, if you don’t know where you’ve come from, you don’t know where you’re going.  We are inherently proud of our heritage and we can look forward to the next 50 years and beyond in delivering bespoke security solutions to meet any application.”

New Products & Services

Mul-T-Lock has a number of exciting announcements in 2023, held to celebrate the special anniversary, including the launch of new products designed to continue the legacy of providing patented security solutions.

This includes extending its security portfolio to include the MTL800 range, which is designed for premium protection, flexibility, and convenience with customers' needs in any industry in mind.

The patented platform combined protective elements to create a triple locking mechanism, superior key control and extensive master-keying capabilities.

Also, included in the year is the launch of a new portfolio of MVP products, offering the highest level of security for vehicles and van fleets. 

This includes the popular MVP2000 (formerly known as ArmaDLock) hasp locking system that secures rear-hinged doors and side sliding doors for commercial vehicles, as well as for all hinged doors, including non-automotive applications.

Robust and lightweight, the push-lock cylinder contains a strong locking bolt that unites both sides of the lock to secure your commercial vehicle and everything it carries.

MLA Expo

This special year, will also see Mul-T-Lock combine forces with Yale, UNION and HKC to present as a diamond sponsor for the long awaited return of the MLA Expo in October.

The brands, in Hall 2 on stand 28 at the International Centre, Telford will offer visitors to the show a comprehensive range of mechanical and smart products, aligning our powers together to demonstrate to our trusted locksmith partners that we are at the forefront of security design.
