ENTR™ into the World of Smart Homes

We now not only have the Internet, but also the Internet of Things (IoT), which is when everday objects have network connectivity, allowing them to send and receive data. This has helped to make the Smart Home concept accessible, affordable and highly effective. Bezeq, Israel’s leading national telecom provider, and IKEA, the home furnishing giant, have jumped at this opportunity and have created a smart home model, using Mul-T-Lock's ENTR™ as its IoT locking solution.

On display from July 26 to August 6, Bezeq constructed a smart home model using today’s latest digital technology at IKEA’s big box store in Netanya, Israel. ENTR™ transforms the home’s locking solution into a smart one. With its ability to control access using a smartphone, keypad, fingerprint reader or remote, along with its sustainability features – wireless, rechargeable batteries and keyless locking – ENTR™ is an ideal solution for any smart home. A real crowd-pleaser, ENTR™ is one of three smart home products which received most of the attention at the display.

“We’re proud to have ENTR™ selected by Bezeq to participate in their design of the ideal smart home,” said Sam Shterenshus, Managing Director ASSA ABLOY Israel. “Through our cooperation with Bezeq, we are making the general public aware of the latest technology and how affordable and relevant it can be for all. The smart home concept has reached a tipping point and Mul-T-Lock is proud to be at the forefront.”

Bezeq estimates that within just three years, 70% of the residences in Israel will be considered smart homes. Given ENTR™’s feature-rich capabilities, combined with affordability and ease of use and installation, it is ideally positioned to address this growing market.
