Mul-T-Lock President, Shimon Shekel, has been awarded the prestigious Israel Industry Award for 2007, which recognizes outstanding achievements of prominent Israeli industrialists.
According to the award committee, Mr. Shekel won the Award for “presenting a successful model for traditional industry which implements advanced technologies and innovative work methods and for making Mul-T-Lock so competitive in the international arena”.
Says Shekel: “Most people don’t know it, but Mul-T-Lock is the best selling Israeli brand worldwide. Mul-T-Lock products are sold at 20 thousand sales points around the world. We are aiming to have a Mul-T-Lock sign placed over every such sales point in the world. Mul-T-Lock is a registered name in 130 countries".
Tzachi Wiesenfeld, Mul-T-Lock's chairman and Head of EMEA Division at ASSA ABLOY, warmly congratulated Shimon: “Shimon's award is a fantastic personal recognition of his achievements in the Israeli Manufacturing Industry over the last 4 decades, but also a great acknowledgment of Mul-T-Lock as a leading company in Israel".
