Our 10th Selling Unit
On April 1, 2009 Mul-T-Lock established a new selling unit, Mul-T-Lock Belgium, upgrading its already substantial 20-year presence in the Belgian marketplace. First presenting itself to the market at Secura Fair 2009 in Brussels, the new unit met with a warm and encouraging welcome.
“Belgium is a strategic West European market for us,” said Ron Rachlin, Mul-T-Lock’s Senior VP Global Marketing, Sales & Business Development. “We have 60 Mul-T-Lock Centers in this country, and we feel that these loyal customers deserve the very best service and support. The new selling unit will be able to meet their expectations, and provide a full, fast and efficient response to their needs.”
Mul-T-Lock Belgium, which is Mul-T-Lock’s 10th international selling unit, is based on a new structural approach: it will operate as a branch of nearby Mul-T-Lock France, that already has a solid professional and logistic infrastructure, a mere two-hour drive from Brussels. The newly opened Belgium offices were specifically chosen for their spaciousness and excellent location: right on the Brussels Ring, close to major intersections and the city’s international airport.
The new team now serving our customers in Belgium includes National Sales & Marketing Manager Philippe Pallemaerts, who specializes in access control systems, as well as Technical & Sales support Manager Rudy Vandenabeele, who brings 10 years’ experience in working with Mul-T-Lock products. One of their first missions in the unit’s first weeks of activity was meeting every customer personally, to strengthen relations and gain a better understanding of market needs. Mul-T-Lock France, with more than 30 well-trained employees, provides its newborn sister with full back-office support, including large stocks enabling quick delivery – directly to the Belgian customer’s premises.
“True to Mul-T-Lock’s traditional policies, Mul-T-Lock Belgium will continue to focus on the locksmith sector,” asserts Ron. “It will use our tried & true methods of growth, built through Mul-T-Lock’s worldwide experience, to maximize the business of our valued Belgian partners. With the new selling unit enhancing our operations, we expect Mul-T-Lock’s activities in Belgium to triple over next three years.”
