| International Building Fair (IBF) in Brno 2008 |

This year’s Building Fairs Brno 2008, consisting of the 13th International Building Fair (IBF), the 9th International Trade Fair for Sanitation, Heating, Air-Conditioning and Building Automation (SHK), and the International Fair for Investment, Finance, Real Estate and Technologies for Towns and Communities (Urbis Invest), were the largest in their history in most aspects.
IBF was attended by 1,450 participating firms, which occupied 74,300 square meters of the exhibition area, in all halls and on open spaces of the Brno Exhibition Centre.
Foreign firms from 24 countries took part. The fairs were attended by official delegations of professionals from Russia, Belarus, Poland and Slovakia. Almost 70% of the total number of visitors (about 95,000) were professionals.
Some 88 % of the visitors came to see novelties and trends in the building industry, 83 % were satisfied with the products displayed, and 81 % with the contracts concluded and contacts established. More than 85% were satisfied with the specialist standard of the fairs, and almost 88 % of the respondents want to participate in the next year’s exhibition as well.
These are the official numbers presented by the organizers.

This year for the first year we enjoyed a stand that exceeded 30 sq.m in size. The open space allowed customers to come in, sit with sales reps of Mul-T-Lock Czech, and discuss current issues, getting information about our activities, including the latest innovations. |
